How long does a membership last?
Your Hotels Etc. Lifetime Gold Membership is valid for life without ever having to pay renewal fees or annual dues. Your Hotels Etc. Lifetime Gold Membership card is valid 365 days a year.
What happens when Hotels Etc. adds new discounts, categories or new discount providers?
You will get them. Hotels Etc. Lifetime Gold Members have access to any and all new discounts that participate in the Hotels Etc. program. You can view this in the members only section. Keep in mind we are a lifetime program, so we are updating our discount directory. Why would any hotel offer 50% off their rates?
Very few hotels have 100% occupancy. Instead of leaving the rooms empty, they are selling them to Hotels Etc. members at half price... after all it is better to make 50% than lose 100%. Hotels are the most perishable industry in the world. If they do not rent that room tonight they cannot make up for it tomorrow. It is lost income. With Hotels Etc., not only are the hotels making money, but also our members are saving 50% at the same time. That is why Hotels Etc. has experienced such major growth with new members and different industries around the globe.

Can I pick up the phone and call any hotel or restaurant and get a discount?
No, Hotels Etc. is a private membership club. You must first login to the members onlyarea to locate our discount providers. Follow the user friendly instructions to receive your discount.
How many rooms is one card valid for? Can I book for my colleague too?
One card is required per room. This means that you cannot book one room for you and one for your colleague, the second person needs a card of his own. Seeing that it may only take one night at a hotel to cover the cost of the membership card - it is really worth recommending Hotels Etc. to everyone you know!
Is the cardholder the only person who can use the card's savings?
Yes. You must have the membership card in possession at the time of check in. Hotels are required to view your membership card. Most companies will make a photocopy of your membership card when checking in.
Can I bring my family and get the Hotels Etc. rate?
Most discount partners are flexible with regard to accommodating you and your family at the discounted price. When making your reservations or visiting the place of business be sure to mention that there will be more than one person in the party. If you purchase a restaurant voucher, they are valid for your entire party.
If I purchase the card through the company, can I then use it for private travels?
Yes, of course! There are no limitations as to how often you can use the card or to the purpose of the travel. Regardless if you travel every day or once in 10 years you will still receive the same benefit from your Hotels Etc. Lifetime Gold Membership card.
Is the 50% discount applicable at weekend rates too?
Hotels base their rates off rack rates. The rack rate at a hotel is different on the weekends versus the weekdays. Almost 90% of our hotels honor the Hotels Etc. discount on the weekend as is during the week. We also have agreements with thousands of hotels to offer members a discount of the BAR rate, "Best Available Rate". These rates are guaranteed to be the best available rate.
If my company is interested in several cards for its traveling staff, are there any discounts applicable?
